We the People: Public Art for the Inauguration and Beyond Kickstarter by Shepard Fairey

Creator of the iconic 2007 HOPE poster for Barack Obama, artist Shepard Fairey, has started a new public art project in time for the presidential inauguration. Enraged by the normalization of the hate, fear, and open racism that were normalized during the 2016 presidential campaign; Fairey has organized a new Kickstarter campaign that aspires to use art to create new symbols of hope to reject intolerance and fight for civil liberties.
