What art medium/method do you prefer?

In the post-modern/alter-modern/super-modern/sub-modern society that we live in today, artists seem to be free to use whatever medium they choose to express their ideas. It wasn’t that long ago that art historians were declaring the “death of painting”, the banality of photography and outright dismissing the use of found objects in art.

What changed this? Did each medium eventually prove itself by capture and audience or garnering value in the art market?

What art medium/method communicates the most to you? Painting, sculpture, photography, installation, performance, film/video, collage… etc. Do you think there is one medium that trumps them all?
